Kao

Kao Soldeu is a contemporary Chinese haute cuisine restaurant. Behind the stove are chef Josep M. Kao and his daughters Meilan and Nayan, members of a long-running culinary saga in Barcelona since the 1950s. Located in an intimate space exquisitely designed by Pilar Líbano Studio.

Our mission was to capture their great star dishes while maintaining the intimate, softly lit essence of the space: black marble tables, oak wood, custom-made red velvet armchairs and wooden lattices dividing the spaces.
For this, we selected exclusive tableware for the dishes and worked hand in hand with the chef to achieve very appetising dishes.
